Employment History
-1975 – Karl A. Fries & Associates – Employed while attending Georgia State University. Primarily appraised properties for 2nd mortgages in the central and southern parts of Fulton County.
– FUNCO (a subsidiary of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Gainesville) Appraised residential and commercial properties, performed construction draws and assisted in the management of REO build outs.
-1978 – Scott Appraisal Service – I appraised residential, multifamily, commercial and industrial properties, as well as worked on projects that involved right of way acquisitions and condemnations, primarily in the Metro Atlanta area.
-1980 – Schwartz & Spurlin – I concentrated on the appraisal of residential properties primarily for both mortgage loans and corporate relocation throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
-present – I formed Dillon H. Fries and Associates and performed residential appraisals throughout the Metro Atlanta area with initially a primary emphasis on mortgage loans and corporate relocation. I also performed appraisal reviews for FNMA throughout the Eastern United States for several years. I grew the firm to 7 appraisers and a staff of two. In 1988, I divested of the mortgage loan appraising part of the business and continued to concentrate on work for corporate relocation purposes, hiring and training three new appraisers. I have since down sized to a one-man operation and concentrate on appraising for divorce attorneys and relocation companies.
